This week in preschool...September 29-October 3, 2014

God blessed them.  Genesis 1:22
This week we learned about Abraham and how God told him to go to a new land.  God promised Abraham that his descendants would be as as numerous as the stars in the sky.  God keeps his promises!  God promised Adam and Eve that He would send a Savior, and Noah was promised that never again would there be a flood that covered the world, and Abraham was promised descendants as numerous as the stars.

This week in Art we made pine cone prints, easel painted, made lego prints, made clay dough designs, and made beautiful bead paintings.

In Small group this week we made a picture of each child having apples on top of their head, however, the amount of apples was determined by their name.  We were able to practice spelling our name and counting how many letters are in our name.  We put our shoes in order from smallest to largest.

We emptied the rice table and put in beans of various sizes and colors, and added some bug, and tweezers for the children to pick out.

Next Tuesday and Wednesday is TEAM UP FOR UGANDA, please help us send medical supplies with the team that is going to Uganda later in the month for a medical mission trip.  A flier was sent home earlier this week with the details and the supplies that are needed, and to show our support you can join us in wearing your favorite teams shirt, hat, uniform, etc.  Mrs. Killian came on Friday to our class to share about CCLS-U.  The children all received a band aid to help them remember to ask Mom and Dad if they could get supplies to help the children in Uganda.
