This week in Preschool...November 17-21, 2014

Not...by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord.  Zechariah 4:6
This week we learned about Gideon.  God helped Gideon defeat the Midianites, not with power, but with God's help, and by trusting God.  When Gideon and his army went to face the Midianites, they had trumpets and torches, so this week we learned about the Letter I and instruments.

In Art, we painted our hands to remember this special time of Thanksgiving.

We water colored a paper plate and added a tube for a body to make a turkey table decoration.

We made Indian corn using our fingerprints. First, we cut out the ear of corn.  Then, we used our fingers to make the kernels of corn.

We easel painted and we used a straw to paint with.  First we squeezed the primary colors of paint onto our paper, then we used our wind to mix the colors together.

In Small group, we did rhythms, and matched sound bowls.

On the iPad we played Garage band, where we played a guitar, a keyboard, or a drum set.
