This week in preschool....September 21-25, 2015

Your steadfast love, O Lord, extends to the heavens.  Psalm 36:5

The Jesus Time Center offers the child a chance to:

  • learn of God's love for every child
  • enjoy the excitement of the stories from the Bible
  • learn Godly attitudes and behaviors
  • develop a love for Jesus and a desire to please Him

This week we learned about Noah and the Flood, and God remembers and cares for us.

We made a class rainbow by tearing paper, and gluing it on.

We learned about the letter Z, and it tickles our teeth, when we make the sound.  We made our alphabet page and decorated it with zebra stripes.

We sorted animals if they live on a farm or in a zoo, or both.

We built an ark, and put the animals in and talked about where they were: inside, outside, next to, on top of, etc..

In Art, we did band aid art, which helped our fine motor skills by peeling the backing on the band aid.

We easel painted.

We made crayon bundle drawings.

We used watercolors to paint rainbow pictures.

We made Noah's Ark picture books.  Ask your child to tell you to the story.
