This week in preschool...January 22-26, 2018

This is My beloved Son.  Matthew 3:17

This week in Jesus time we learned about Jesus' Baptism.  Jesus is our substitute, He washes our sins away and gives us new life.  He is perfect and did what we couldn't do.  Jesus was baptized by his cousin, John the Baptist in the Jordan River.  After Jesus was baptized a dove came down, which was the Holy Spirit.

Chapel this week was led by Pastor Mark Kiessling, who is the director for our National Youth Gatherings, and someone very special to our 4 year old teacher, Mrs. Kiessling.  He started our Gospel colors, and this week we began with black-sin.

S was our letter this week.  We squeezed glue on our letter S, then we spread it around with a paint brush, added some sand with a spoon, and shook the extra sand off.  We graphed our names and only 1 friend had an "s"  in their name.  Ask your child which friend had an "s".
