This week in preschool...October 22-25, 2018

My help comes from the Lord.  Psalm 121:2

This week in Jesus Time we learned about Moses.  We learned how God kept Moses safe when he was put in the river to save him from Pharaoh hurting all the Israelite babies.  Jochabed,  Moses' mother was brave to put her baby boy in the river, and Miriam, Moses' big sister, helped to make sure that Moses was safe as he was in the basket, and then got his mother to care for him for Pharaoh's daughter, who rescued him out of the river.  Jesus rescued us from sin.  We had the props available during exploration for the children to act the story out.

Chapel this week was led by Mrs,. Larson.  We learned about the pumpkin prayer.  If your child was here on Tuesday, a booklet about the pumpkin prayer was sent home in their backpack.

This week we focused on the letter J, and we put jewels on our alphabet page.
