This week in Jesus Time we have been learning about the Good Samaritan. We learned how some people walked around the injured man and left him lie there, and the Samaritan stopped and helped the man and paid for his needs. Who is our neighbor? EVERYONE!
We tried writing our names with each line missing one letter more, we will be waiting to try that again. So we continue to trace them on tracing paper and we are using a stylus on the iPad.
This week on the iPad we played Lego Builders and the Wheels on the Bus.
We enjoy the play dough, which strengthens our hand muscles. We also learn at the housekeeping center, blocks, reading, and the writing/math/science center.
We measured the ingredients and mixed them together and made coffee sand for our sensory table. It smells like Starbucks in our classroom. After we mixed it together, we added construction vehicles to move the coffee sand.
This week we made Cat in the Hat hats, and we learned how to use a ruler to make straight lines, then we painted our colored our red/ white pattern.
We decorated the first letter of our name and then made L is for Lisa, to go along with our Dr. Suess's ABC book.
In Small group we did a pattern of the Cat in the Hat hat, we graphed how many letters are in our names, we traced our names with bingo dabbers, and we sorted beads by color and using our fine motor skills to put them on the pipe cleaner that was the same color.
We also enjoyed singing and dancing, when we did the Beanie Bag Dance.

Next Tuesday we will be making green eggs and ham, and Thursday is Grandparents'/ Special Friends Day. RSVPs are due by March 1.
