Butterfly blog

On Tuesday 3 butterflies came out, then the other 2 came out today.  Mrs. Wilke and I released them this afternoon.

This week in preschool...May 19- 23, 2014

The Lord is my helper; I will not fear.  Hebrews 13:6

This week we have been learning about God cares for the birds and flowers, and God cares for ME!  He gives us everything that we need, so we do not need to worry.  He cares for ME!

We enjoyed having our Dads come to school for Dads and Doughnuts.

Making surprises for Dad!

This week in Art we fingerpainted, made a dinosaur, fruit loop pictures, and did musical painting.

This week in small group we made sun prints, to see how the sun changed the paper.  We sorted dinosaurs, and made dinosaur tack in the playdough and made dinosaur fossils.  At exploring time we worked on the iPads, played with the dinosaurs, read books, made lego creations and potato head creations.  

We had a special treat on Wednesday, Juggling Jeff came and did a show for us.

On Thursday we had a special outside time, with 2 sensory tables, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, and eating our snack outside.

On Monday, all of our caterpillars had made cocoons, so Mrs. Larson moved them into the butterfly habitat, and we are waiting for our painted lady butterflies.  I will put the butterfly pictures on the blog after school is out and keep you posted.
