Preschool News February 20-28, 2013

We had our first snow day.  One class got to learn about milk.  Here's what they knew:
Milk comes from cows.
You can make chocolate milk.
Ice cream comes from milk.
We drink it.
We put it on cereal.
We made pudding with it.
And...
We did an experiment with it!  The milk made swirls!

This week we learned about DINOSAURS! Here's what we know!
They Stomp!
They ROAR!
Some eat plants.
Some are carnivores.
They are extinct.
They have big bones.
So we made patchwork dinosaurs, water color painted dinosaurs, made dinosaur fossils out of playdough, and played a dinosaur matching game.

It's time to take our snowman creations down...spring is around the corner.

We also had fun this week toothbrush painting, playing at the sand table, hammering the tees, and playing a matching letter games with milk caps.
