This week we read The Pumpkin Patch Parable, and we learned about Moses. God protected baby Moses when he was in the river. Here we played Hide the Baby, where everyone got a turn to find baby Moses, then hide him for the others to find. It helps us learn self-regulation when we have to wait. God had a plan to save the Israelites, as they we being mistreated by the pharoah. The pharoah wanted to get rid of all the baby boys, but Moses' mother put him in a basket in the river and the pharoah's daughter found him. Miriam, Moses' sister was keeping watch on him as he was in the basket in the river and when she saw the princess get him, she asked if she could find an Israelite mother to care for the baby, and it was her mother who cared for him, then returned him to the palace when he grew up, and he would then deliver the Israelites.
This week was very special as we went to the Magic House, make sure to check out the special Magic House blogs.
This week in Art, we painted with chocolate pudding, and we mixed it together then painted with our fingers. We also made a picture using cupcake liners and pom poms.
In Small group this we practiced our counting and one to one correlation of counting with our Barn and corn Game.
