This week in Preschool....September 9-13

God formed the man of dust from the ground.  Genesis 2:7
This week in Jesus time we are learning about how God gave life to the World, and God made me and I am special to Him and He loves me.
To reiterate that He loves us we watercolored a hidden message picture, so we are continuing to learn how to use watercolors, to get bright colors, and to not mix them together and make dirt color.

We talked about that God made the trees and how they change and grow like us, so we made hand trees, and we made fallen leaf pictures, where we tore tissue paper or construction paper.  Tearing helps our hands with fine motor skills that help us get ready to hold a pencil. We are learning that a dot of glue does a lot!  The squeezing of the glue bottle also helps our hands get ready to write.

We rolled our playdough into snakes and tried to make different shapes.

We are learning about the animals that God made, and we have 3 hermit crabs, Shelly, Speedy, and Crabby. We got to watch them move around the floor.

It is so much fun to work together.  We are able to put floor puzzles together.

We play with the light table, we make train tracks, we take care of our babies and read them stories.  Through our play we learn many different skills.

We painted at the easel and we painted using a balloon as our paint brush.

This week we have read, Up, Up, Up It's Apple Picking Time, Pa Grapes Shapes, Junior's Colors, Let It Fall, We're Going on a Nature Hunt, and We're Going on a Leaf Hunt.
