This week in preschool...March 2-6, 2015

God loves a cheerful giver.  2 Corinthians 9:7
Our Bible story this week was The Widow's Mite.  We learned that she gave all that she had.  She only had 2 small coins to put in the offering, but she did it gladly.  We too, should be cheerful givers, we talked about how we can bring supplies to send to Uganda. We made heart crayons to send to Uganda.

This week we continued our Dr. Suess theme, and we made Green Eggs and ham.

We are going to keep track of our weather for the month of March, perhaps we will see some signs of spring...

We painted under the table, and it helped us build strength in our upper extremities.

We made cross handprints, and easel painted.

We also made fish bowls to go along with One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish.

We traced our feet and measured them with a ruler, and large and small paper clips.

We blew pom poms along a line.

We made heart crayons. First, we broke the crayons and then, we placed the pieces into the heart shaped bake ware, and we put them in the oven to let them melt.  We let them cool and we had colorful heart crayons to send to Uganda.

We did size sorting.

We have a grocery store in  our classroom....
