This week we learned about Zacchaeus. Zacchaeus was a tax collector and people did not like him, he took some of the money and kept it. Jesus came to the town that Zacchaeus lived in, and he wanted to see Jesus too, but he wasn't very tall and he could not see, so he climbed a sycamore tree. When Jesus passed by Zacchaeus, he told Zacchaeus that He wanted to go to Zacchaeus' house. Jesus loves everyone! Zacchaeus was sorry for what he did, and he repented, and he was forgiven, and so are we! We acted out the story.
This week in Art we are making surprises for Dad, so we have our lips zipped.
We also finger painted with frosting, this went along with our story, If You Give a Cat a Cupcake.
We made a green collage...and they could put things on and take them off, a new design each time.
Measuring with yarn that is the same length as we are tall...
We made name puzzles by cutting out each letter in our name then putting it together.
