This week in preschool...February 9-13, 2015

God will supply every  need of yours.  Philippians 4:19
This week we learned about the feeding of 5000.  We learned that what Jesus did was a miracle, and only Jesus can perform a miracle.   One boy had only 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish, and that fed 5000 people and there were 12 baskets of left overs.  God is so good!  He gives us everything we NEED! We picked out play food, and said a thank you prayer for that food.

We made a graph of our favorite food:  Pizza, Chicken Nuggets, or Mac and Cheese....

This week we are making our valentine card bags, where we need to practice spelling our names, by finding the letters to spell our name, then gluing them on, and decorating the bag with stickers, and hearts.

We also made crowns to wear for our Pajamas and Pancakes Valentine celebration.

We are learning to recognize our numbers and we did q-tip painting to help us learn how to make them.

This week we learned about the letter F, and we added pictures of items that begin with F, and we had a squish bag to practice writing it.

Each day as we arrive, we find out what our job for the day is, then we find our name tag, and we trace our name on tracing paper.

We have some fine motor activities available this week, where the children can put beads on a toothpick or on pip cleaners and make a pattern. We had valentine materials in our sensory table.

We have chocolate play dough, and the children are busy making cupcakes, and cookies.

Light Table...

We had our spaghetti noodles available to add red or purple paint and help us with learning about arteries and veins.

We have a vet/doctor center where the children are taking good care of their animals and checking on their friends.
