This week we learned about Jesus' Baptism, and how we are made God's children in the waters of baptism. We talked about that Jesus was perfect and did not sin. We talked about that a bath will clean the dirt off our bodies, but baptism washes our sins away and God made you His child. John the Baptist baptized Jesus in the Jordan River. We played Jump the Jordan, and practiced good hygene.
This week in Art, we made foam snowflakes, easel painted, made snowmen from potato mashers, and made a marshmallow snowman, where we drew the snowman, and glued on marshmallows. We tried to see if we could guess how many marshmallows it would take, then we counted that many out, to see if we got it right, or we needed more or less.
iPads...This week we drew snowmen,and played an app that allowed us to decorate our own snowman.
Penguin cam...
We practiced writing our names in shaving cream.
We also practiced brushing our teeth, using an egg carton.
