It's Spring!!
We have enjoyed some warmer weather and got to play on our playground, first time in quite a while..
Our water table provides us with lots of opportunities to pour, measure, and fill containers. We even get wet with the smocks on, good thing its getting warmer.
We are learning about the amazing five senses that God gave us. We listened to different sounds and tried to guess what they were, and we smelled containers and tried to guess those. We didn't like the smell of vinegar, but they all could guess the smell of coffee.
At the Art Center this week, we used our sense of touch and finger painted. We put tape on our paper and made a design, painted over it, and saw that we had a design when we took the tape off. We also used jello powder to finger paint. We learned that when you added the water with the spray bottle it changed color, and it smelled good!

Exploring at the Light Table, building Mr. Potato heads, and at the discovery table we can match the number and pegs.

Our caterpillars have arrived and we are watching them, we can't wait to see what will happen next!. We are also going to make a worm habitat to watch.
