This week in preschool October 1-4, 2012

It has been a fun week in preschool.
We learned that GOD MADE EVERYTHING!  We compiled a list of things that God made, and then we cut out pictures from magazines to add to our words.

We rolled playdough into snakes then made the snakes into the first letter of our name.

In art we did shaving cream marbleizing and cornstarch fade away.

We have a classroom pet!  We are voting to pick a name.  Here are our choices:  Crabby, Zachary, Tegan, Emerson, Hermie, Toby, Raisin Bran, Chopper, Princess, Cinderella, and Shelly.  The T/TH class has voted, and on Monday the M/W will vote, and we will have a name for our hermit crab.  He likes to come out of his shell and we have let him crawl on our floor.

We had fun sorting, scooping,and pouring at the bean table.

Our M/W class went to the gym on Wednesday, and we player with the parachute.

At exploring time we could choose our activity.  Some chose to play with the tangrams, some played in the dramatic play area, or at the wipe board.
