This week we focused on the parable of the Good Samaritan, Jesus was merciful and reached out to help and save you when you were dead in your sins. God looks at His people with Mercy, or loving kindness and compassion, and that is what we are to do to all people. Everyone is our neighbor. We told the story through a drawing on the wipe board, and the children could go there throughout the week and tell it in their own words. We also used finger puppets, and acted the story out.
This week and next we are going to focus on the wonderful book by Dr. Suess, so we are going to read and do lots of fun rhyming, art, and read lots of stories throughout.
