Each week we will highlight one of the areas in our classroom, and give you information about what we are learning through that activity or area in our classroom. This week we are highlighting our Morning Meeting.
This week we are learning about our classroom and our school. We are learning how to listen, line up, follow directions, put things away, and get along with each other. We learn and explore through our play.
Mark 10:14: "Let the children come to Me"
In Jesus Time we are doing a Unit on Peaceful Problem Solving, we learned about friends, and that we are all friends. Each of us is special, we are loved, and created by God, and Jesus is our best friend and Savior.

Morning Meeting...In our morning meeting we are getting to know our new friends, and this is when we go over our day with a picture schedule that you see under the calendar in the photo. We show what our art is for the day, and what small group activity we have available for the day also. We are also learning listening skills, self-regulation, and good communication skills during this short time on the carpet before we move onto our large motor activity (gym or play ground).
