This week we learned about a women who anointed Jesus' head and feet. Jesus loved us so much that he died on the cross to take away our sins, and the woman loved Jesus so much she used expensive oil and her hair to make Jesus feel special. We also learned about Jesus washing the disciples feet. He taught them how to serve and love others, and then, Mrs. Larson washed our feet.
This week our chapel was led by Mr. Butterfield and our theme was the Gospel color, yellow, the promise of heaven.
This week we learned about the letter U. We put a flag of the United States of America on our alphabet page, and we graphed each day who has a letter U or u in their name.
Art this week...
Potato masher eater eggs....the children painted the potato masher to design their own egg, then cleaned it off in the water, and made another egg...
Corn syrup eggs...we painted using corn syrup with food coloring added, when they are dry, they shine...
Easel painting...
3 cross sponge painting...we painted a sunset with sponges, and then added the cross silhouette...
