This week in preschool...January 9-13, 2017

Oh come, let us worship and bow down.  Psalm 95:6

This week we learned about the wisemen and the gifts that they brought to Jesus.  As the wisemen followed the star, the stopped in Jersusalem and asked where the newborn king was, and this made Herod angry.  He tried to trick the wisemen to coming back and telling him where Jesus was, so that he could hurt Jesus.  An angel came to the wisemen and told them go home another way.  An angel also told Mary and Joseph to flee to Egypt to get away from King Herod.

This week chapel was led by Pastor Larson, who talked about our Gospel colors, and this week we started with black which represents sin.  What would happen if we added dirt to our brownie mix?  That's what sin does, it would make the brownies bad.  We thank God that He sent His Son, Jesus to wash away our sins.

Our letter this week is Q q, and we made our alphabet page look like a quilt...
