This week in preschool...September 28- October 2, 2015

God blessed them.  Genesis 1:22
This week we learned about Abraham, and how God blesses His people.  Abraham and Sarah had to move to a new land, and they were sad, but God was with them.

This week we are learning about the letter H.

















We made hand/arm fall trees, where the trunk and branches are made from tracing the fore arm and hand, then they tore colored paper to make leaves.










We made drawings with wet chalk.



We easel painted.







We painted with beads.



We went on a nature walk and collected items, then made a nature picture/collage.  We even saw 2 cardinals.













This week we talked about houses and made a large paper house, and glued objects that we find in each room of the house.

We compared shoe sizes.





We practiced driving along with cars to help us with our fine motor skills, and pre-writing.

.Music and Movement....We learned Silly Dance Party, where we are learning self-control to freeze, and then move.  We also learned the Hokey Pokey and Father Abraham.






















Dr. and Mrs. Killian came and talked to our classes  about their upcoming trip to Uganda and they showed us some of the instruments from there, and told us how we can help by bringing medicine to send in their suitcases.





















On Friday, we went upstairs and sang "Happy Birthday" to Mr. Butterfield, our Executive Director.
