This week we read Benjamin's Box to go along with the resurrection eggs to help reinforce the Easter story.
We had chapel on Monday, and Pastor Seidler led us, and he talked about doubting Thomas.
We made pop bottle flower garden pictures.
We made a design with tape then fingerpainted over the top and then peeled the tape off.
We easel painted white on blue to make pictures like the story Little Cloud and It Looked Like Spilt Milk.
This wee we are working on the letter R, and to go along we are learning about rain and rocks.
We looked at rocks, and saw that they can be smooth, shiny, rough, and even sparkly. We looked at geodes. We did an experiment to see if the rocks would sink in water, oil, and corn syrup.
We also did an experiment to see what would sink down from a mountain of shaving cream.
We used our iPads to watch a video from PBS on Clouds and Weather, then we made 4 types of clouds from cotton balls. We learned about cumulus, stratus, cirrus, and cumulonimbus clouds.
We read What Comes in 2's, 3's, and 4's?, and we tried to list things that come in those quantities.
