This week we learned about Caleb and the spies who went to check out the promised land. We read the Arch book, Caleb, God's Special Spy. Two Spies gave a good report, and the other 10 did not, they did not trust God, and then God made them wander in the desert for 40 years, and they would not get to enter the promised land.

In Art, we made binoculars to use with our Jesus Time.

We also made vegetable prints. V is for vegetable.

We made pictures by drawing with oil first, then watercoloring over the top. We added a little science that shows oil and water do not mix.

We traced our names in glue and added beans.

We made bio putty.

In our small group we made grape clusters, we cut the shape out, then we used bingo dabbers to make grapes, and we counted the number of grapes on our cluster. When Caleb and the spies were checking out the promised land they saw that the land had wonderful fruit. We played "I spy" at snack time and came up with really good clues. We also played the "Train Game". We also did lacing cards with farm animals with our high school student.
